The Los Osos Community Services District is seeking applicants to fill an upcoming vacancy on the Board of Directors representing District Area 2.

The five-member Board helps establish District policies and priorities, set utility rates, oversee District services, and ensure public funds are used effectively. Board Members attend monthly meetings, serve on committees, and work with District staff and the community on issues affecting Los Osos.

The Area 2 seat will become vacant in December 2026 because no candidate filed for the position for the November 2026 election. The Board will review applications and interview qualified applicants at a public meeting before making an appointment.

Applicants must reside within District Area 2.

Application Deadline: September 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
