The LOCSD produces a number of financial reports to help customers understand how their money is spent and what services that money provides. The District adopts a budget annually, each July, and produces status reports on the budget on a monthly basis.
The District is also required to have an audit of its financial statements conducted by a CPA firm that is independant from (not associated with) the District. The purpose of the audit is to make sure that the District's financial statements are accurate.
