The Trash to Treasure program is coming to the North Coast! Residents in Morro Bay, Los Osos, Cayucos, and Cambria can participate by giving unwanted, usable items a second life—and maybe finding a treasure of their own.

• Post your items: September 17–24
• Treasure hunting weekend: September 26–27

Here’s how it works:

1. Post your treasure on the community-wide treasure map - Post clean, functional items that you no longer want, such as furniture, bikes, houseware or yard items. Posting is open for one week before the event, from Thursday, September 17 - Thursday, September 24 th th North Coast: Morro Bay, Los Osos, Cayucos & Cambria Saturday, September 26 - Sunday, September 27 th th Donate & hunt for treasure!
2. Place items on the curb - Leave items on the curb during the program weekend of Saturday, September 26th - Sunday, September 27th
3. Use the map to hunt for treasure - Use the interactive, online treasure map to view what your neighbors have posted and go out to retrieve treasure that you want during the program weekend. 

Anything that isn't picked up over the weekend can be scheduled for bulky-item pickup through Waste Connections.
