Time to Decrease Outdoor Irrigation

In San Luis Obispo County and especially Los Osos, temperatures during September through November may still relatively warm and your plants may seem to require similar water patterns as summer. However, keeping mind that as the days become shorter, evaporation decreases and plants’ water needs drop by approximately 30%. Visit slowaterwiselandscaping.com for some guidelines on irrigation, great landscaping ideas and tips on how to save water while having a lush looking landscape.

Nipomo Avenue Pipeline Project is Underway

If you are a frequent traveler on Nipomo Avenue from 10th Street to South Bay Boulevard, for the next several weeks you will experience traffic controls during the installation of a new pipeline. The purpose of the project is to connect LOCSD wells located at Nipomo and South Bay to the water zone that supplies water to the majority of our customers in the Baywood Park neighborhood. This will allow for better fire capabilities and water production to that area of our water system. If you have any questions, please call our office at 805-528-9370.
