This notice is to advise you that properties at APNs:

were inspected for a third time and have been identified as having a fire hazard that requires abatement. These conditions are a public safety hazard under the Los Osos Community Services District ordinance no. 2025-02. The purpose of this ordinance is to keep the community fire safe by ensuring that all yards and lots are cleared of flammable vegetation and debris.
A public hearing regarding fire hazard abatement for your property will be held:

Time: 5:00pm
Location: Los Osos Community Services District Board Room, 2122 9TH Street STE 106, Los Osos, CA
At this hearing, property owners may appeal or contest abatement determinations before the District Hearing Board.
REQUIRED ACTION
You are hereby ordered to abate the nuisance by clearing and properly disposing of all hazardous vegetation and prohibited materials within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this notice. Failure to comply will result in the District and CAL FIRE/South Bay Fire Department performing the abatement at your expense.
Abatement costs include:
- Direct removal costs (contractors, equipment, disposal)
- Administrative costs of enforcement.
These costs will be billed to you and may become a special assessment and lien on your property if unpaid, as authorized by Chapter 4.04.170–180.
RIGHT TO APPEAL
If you disagree with this determination, you may file a written request for a hearing before the District’s Hearing Board within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this notice. If no request is filed, the abatement shall be deemed ordered.
FAILURE TO COMPLY
If you do not abate the nuisance or request a hearing, the Fire Code Official is authorized under Chapter 4.04.160 to enter your property and perform the abatement. Costs will be charged to you, and unpaid amounts may be placed on the County tax roll as a lien against the property.
