Los Osos is a residential coastal community on
California's Central Coast, situated along the southern shore of Morro Bay. Originally established as a ranching and agricultural community, Los Osos has maintained its relaxed character, strong sense of
community, and connection to the natural environment that surrounds it.

The District seeks a customer-service-oriented Assistant General Manager who can effectively communicate with residents, contractors, consultants, regional partners, elected officials, and District staff. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and experienced leader who can build
relationships, motivate staff, and help the organization achieve its goals. Successful candidates will be adept at balancing competing priorities, managing complex capital projects, and aligning workloads with employees' strengths, interests, and professional development objectives.

The annual salary for this at-will position is:

Assistant General Manager $127,108 - $154,502 or Assistant General Manager/District Engineer $151,777 -$184,496 Annually depending on qualifications and experience. The District offers an outstanding benefits package that includes fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for the employee with significant contributions towards family premiums, the CalPERS 2% @ 55 for Classic Members and 2% @62 for PEPRA Members and a generous paid leave program.
