What To Expect: South Bay Boulevard will be closed for pipeline construction between Quintana Road and the Highway 1 ramps. Highway 1 will remain accessible via Quintana Road and Morro Bay Boulevard. Quintana Road will be fully opened by December 27th, and all roads surrounding the closure will be open.

Please plan extra time for commuting to accommodate for potential delays and the detour to Highway 1, and please follow posted signage.

Traffic control for future construction on South Bay Boulevard from the Highway 1 ramps to the City's WRF at 555 South Bay Boulevard is still being coordinated with and reviewed by Caltrans. More information will be distributed as soon as it is available.

When: South Bay Boulevard will be closed beginning Monday, December 27th, and remain closed for approximately eight weeks (weather permitting). Construction is scheduled on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekend or night work may be scheduled, as needed, but neighboring properties will be informed in advance of schedule changes.
