On April 2, 2026, the Board of Directors approved a three-year agreement with CAL FIRE for the provision of fire protection and emergency medical services.

Under the terms of the agreement, the District will continue the services as they are now provided. Services will be delivered utilizing a 3-1 staffing model, consisting of three full time CalFire personnel and one Reserve Fire Fighter. This model is intended to maintain effective emergency response capabilities and continue providing a high level of service to the community.

The contract will take effect following the conclusion of the current agreement and will remain in place for a period of three years.
