Clean Up Week will be March 2nd - March 6th. For Bulky Items (see the list below) you must call at LEAST three days prior to your collection day to schedule 805-543-0875 - Discounted pick up rates for Bulky Items are provided for those item. 

Container Notes

Cleanup Week garbage may be placed in standard trash cans or tied into bundles. Standard trash containers will be emptied and left on the curb. Boxes and plastic bags will be taken away with your garbage. If you want your non-standard containers left behind, please mark or place a note on them.

Extra Trash Bags (Single-Family Resident Customers only) :

• Item Limits: You may set out up to 6 bags of trash (32-gallon capacity each), with a maximum weight of 25 pounds and length of 4 feet per bag for no additional cost.
• Collection Time: Please place your trash bags at the curb by 6:00AM on your regular collection day.
• Reminder: Be sure not to block your containers, as our automated trucks will still be in operation.

Special Item Pick-Up (For Single and Multi-Family Customers):

If you have bulky/large items, you can schedule a special pick-up at a discounted rate during Clean-Up Week.

• Cost: Varies per item (Restrictions may apply. Call for details)
• Scheduling: Call our office at 805-543-0875 at least 3 days before your collection day to schedule the pickup.
• Please note, items will not be picked up unless scheduled in advance.

We encourage diversion from the landfill.

There are lots of local resources for reducing and reusing the items we're ready to get rid of. 

• Have larger items that are still in decent shape? Try Habitat for Humanity, they might even pick up certain things. 
• How about e-waste? Perhaps iFixit can get you the hard to find parts, and share the know-how, to get it done.
• Otherwise, most e-waste is accepted free of charge at our Cold Canyon Landfill, and some local retailers.
