LOCSD Standing Advisory Committees
Standing committees are advisory committees to the Board of Directors and consider District related issues assigned to it by the Board of Directors. Standing committees meet monthly and are comprised of five public voting members and one public alternate, and two Directors who serve as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson. All standing committee members and alternates are appointed by the Board of Directors for a one year term commencing on March 1st and ending on the last day of February of the succeeding year.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 LOCSD Advisory Committees. Volunteers are needed as members and alternates for the Emergency Services Advisory Committee, the Finance Advisory Committee and the Utilities Advisory Committee. Applications will be accepted through February 29, 2012.
